Purdue Football Player Countdown: #81 Collin Sullivan

Purdue has a ton of talent at receiver.

I continue to be amazed at the number of receivers Purdue has available at receiver. We can literally go three deep across the board, especially with yesterday’s wonderful news. It also allows for time to develop freshmen.

Collin Sullivan - Fr.

Round Rock, TX (Round Rock HS)

6’2”, 200 pounds

Wide Receiver

2020 Projection: Likely redshirt

I think Sullivan redshirts this year and develops behind the scene just because Purdue has so much proven talent in front of him. He was a consensus three-star recruit that had a monster year last year. He finished with 68 receptions for 1,204 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior in 2019. That was in only ten games as his team finished 6-4.

Those are some really good numbers and it is clear he has talent. As always, rising to the top of a very crowded depth chart will be difficult for any receiver. Sullivan will definitely get his shot though.
