Earlier this afternoon I got an interesting DM from a person I went to Purdue with who knows folks who knows folks. It said Rondale Moore was coming back to play at Purdue. I asked how confident they were and they said confident. This was just after 2:00 PM.
This is one of those situations where you don’t want to get your hopes up because in 2020 of all years perhaps it’s too much to hope for. Luckily, while I was out walking my dog, just before 5:00 PM it was announced that Rondale Moore would return to Purdue to play in the upcoming abbreviated Big Ten only season.
This is a boon for Coach Brohm and the Purdue offense. Moore said he was coming back so that he could prove he’s the best receiver in the country and if given the opportunity and if he maintains his health I don’t see any reason why the young man can’t return to, and improve upon, his freshman season.
If you want to throw all your money on the over of 3.5 wins this year now might be the time to do it before Vegas adjusts. To quote Jeff Brohm, “Let’s play football!”
