Purdue had Rondale Moore for one full season.

Then, during his sophomore season, he faced a season ending injury.

Then headed into his third year, Covid happened. Forcing Rondale to decide what to do, after the 10 game Pandemic Season Schedule was released, Rondale opted out to focus on the NFL Draft.

The 20 year old will graduate Purdue in December, getting his bachelors degree in 2.5 years, truly impressive.

But, Rondale opted out when there was not as many safety precautions put in place by the Big Ten.

Now, have you have all seen by now. The Big Ten is scheduled to be back late October, playing an eight game schedule. As more technology has come out, including the rapid testing created by the NBA. The Big Ten is taking many precautions now to take care of their athletes.

Could this lead to the star receiver and future first round pick to reconsider?

Jeff Brohm is at least going to ask.

Personally, the likelihood seems low. But it cannot hurt to ask. Rondale is still on scholarship and taking classes to complete his degree and could easily transition back.

I know his teammates and coaches would certainly welcome him back. All of Boiler Nation would love to have him back in the Old Gold and Black for one more run.

The worst thing he can say is no. The best? Well we could see him on the field October 24th.
