Trevion Williams
6-9, 270 Pounds
Center
2019-2020 Stats: 11. 5 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 1.5 APG, 21.5 Minutes Per Game
2020-2021 Prediction: 16 PPG, 9 RPG, 2 APG, 30 Minutes Per Game
Trevion essentially doubled his production from his freshman to sophomore season, all while splitting time with Matt Haarms at the center position.
With Trevion continuing to shape his body into a NBA prospect, it is feasible to think he will get nearly 30 minutes per game at center, since there is no experience back up at the position.
If Trevion can add a consistent jump shot, the predicted numbers I listed above are definitely obtainable.
Trevin, paired with Eric Hunter Jr. should be one of the better guard-center combos in the Big Ten this season. Both made admirable improvements in 2019-2020, but they can improve even more and must improve if we want our Boilers to be back in the March Tournament in 2021.
While Trevion played a vital role in the team last season, this year I think it is a fair expectation him to be THE guy. He has the ability, the work ethic and the opportunity to solidify himself as one of the best big men to come through Purdue.
