In recent years, Purdue has had success with getting players from La Lumiere Prep School and if we have any luck this time around, maybe Purdue can dig into that pipeline again with Top 25 Center, Vincent Iwuchukwu.

The 7 Foot Big Man is a do it all center with high interest in our Boilermakers is moving much closer to West Lafayette. Originally from Texas, Vincent is headed to northern Indiana.

Under Coach Painter, he has gotten 3 highly rated recruits from La Lu to come to West Lafayette.

Rapheal Davis who was Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, Jay Simpson (who had a promising start at Purdue before a heart condition ended his career) and incoming freshman phenom, Jaden Ivey, the gem of the 2020 class.

Iwuchukwu has a great post game already and will have to continue to develop his mid range game as he gets to La Lu. But, he is the class of 2022 and as it stands now, Trevion would be graduating, so, for the center position in 2022 it would be Emmanuel Dowuona and incoming 2020 freshman Zach Edey left on roster.

Vincent would have a great chance of starting as a true freshman and making a massive impact. Take a look at some of his highlights.
