Ingram, the 5* recruit out of Dallas, Texas, has been the top priority for the 2021 class for almost two years now.
Harrison would be the highest rated recruit ever for Coach Matt Painter. According to the 247, he is rated the 13th best player in the nation and comes in with a 99 overall overall composite rating is easily the most skilled wing we have ever been after.
Quite frankly, he probably is a sure fire NBA player in his near future, if not a one and done, he could potentially be a two year player and head out.
At Purdue though, he would walk in and be the center piece of the team - he is that good. At 6-6, 210 pounds, he could play the 1, 2 or 3. At his high school he plays the point forward role, as he is the best passer on the court and easily has the highest basketball IQ on the court at all times.
Harrison and his family have a focus on academics, within the list, you can see top tier academic schools, at one point it appeared that Purdue and Stanford were the front runners, but both Howard and Michigan have appeared to really peak his interest lately.
He can do a bit of everything. He can shoot, get to the bucket, pass well and is a great defender.
If he does choose Purdue, he has the potential to go down as one of the Purdue Greats, going down with recent names like Carsen Edwards, E’Twaun Mooore, Robbie Hummel, JaJuan Johnson and Caleb Swanigan - all of which were All-Americans.
