Can the junior get in the rotation on the offensive line?

Name: Marc Roland

Position: Offensive Line (Interior)

Size: 6-3, 295 Pounds

Hometown: Indianapolis, Indiana (Roncalli HS)

2019: Appeared in 8 games as a reserve and played on special teams.

2020 Prediction: Roland, the junior walk on from Roncalli has worked himself onto the field. He appeared in 8 games last season and is a mainstay for special teams, particularly field goal and PAT.

Roland will have a chance to play for Purdue again this fall and if he has continued to develop, he may find himself as a starter. You see, there are no guaranteed spots on the offensive line at Purdue currently, and Roland now has some experience going into his Junior Season.

I think he will wind up being a solid reserve for a young offensive line. Though, if he does break the starting rotation, that would not surprise me either.
