2020-21 Purdue basketball: Now with no passports needed.
Due to the ongoing hellscape of that is the coronavirus pandemic Purdue will no longer be playing outside the country during the 2020-21 season. The Cancun Challenge, originally scheduled to be played in, well, Cancun, has now been moved to Eastern Florida State College in Brevard County:

Games will be played at the Titan Field House which is home to Eastern Florida’s men’s and women’s basketball programs. The arena seats approximately 1,500 fans, maintaining the classic intimate setting of the Cancun Challenge.
Last season Purdue played VCU and Florida State in the Gulf Coast Classic at Northwest Florida State College, so we continue to collect games at Directional Florida schools. There is still North Florida, South Florida, Florida Southern, Central Florida, College of Central Florida, Florida Southwestern State College, North Florida College, and South Florida State College.
Purdue still has not had its ACC/Big Ten Challenge and Gavitt Games opponent announced. The December 29 home game vs. Yale is also up in the air with the Ivy League cancelling all sports through the end of the year.
