Too bad he can’t be a player coach, as giving this team yet another sniper from long range. Reno joins players Isaac Haas, Ryan Cline, Grady Eifert, Rapheal Davis, PJ Thompson, and Jon Octeus. There are supposed to be a few other players announced before too long, hopefully getting a roster of 8-9 guys.
It is hard to think of Ryne as a coach for this, but he has already had a very promising coaching career since ending his playing days in 2012. He coached for two seasons at Clinton Prairie HS southeast of Lafayette, then a season at Anderson High School. He eventually joined the staff of Jack Owens at Miami (OH) for three years. He is currently serving as an assistant to Carson Cunningham at Incarnate Word in San Antonio. He is only 30 as well, so it would be great if he could somehow suit up as a player-coach.
Welcome back, Ryno!
