We have had no sports now for four weeks and there is no end in sight. It is going to be weeks, if not months, before we can see fans in the stands, but what about games with no fans? There is talk about it happening, and it would not be the first time that has happened.
In 2015 the Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox played a major league game in an empty stadium in Baltimore due to civil unrest in the city. While T-Mill and Paul don’t go into the deeper story as to why that was going on, they discussed how Major League Baseball pulled off a regular season game with no fans (even though the Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays have been playing in empty stadiums for years).
Will we see it happen in 2020 in baseball? In the NBA? In, dare we say, college football in the fall? We don’t know, but let’s get weird.
