Purdue Football Recruiting: Bryon Threats Commits!

Purdue gets their 5th man of the 2021 recruiting class

Two days after inside linebacker Tristan Cox committed, Purdue has now added another interesting prospect for the 2021 recruiting class as Bryon Threats announced his decision to come play in West Lafayette today via Twitter.

Standing 5’10’, and weighing 190 pounds, Threats is labeled as an athlete, but is expected to be a running back at the collegiate level. He also played defensive back and returned kicks for Dublin Coffman High School where he showed his outstanding speed and athleticism

The 3-star recruit from Dublin, Ohio is ranked as the 624th best recruit in the country, 53rd for athletes and 28th in his home state of Ohio. He is currently the second high rated commit for the Boilermakers 2021 recruiting class behind only wide receiver Preston Terrell.

Purdue was able to edge out a hefty list of offers that included Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan State, West Virginia among others.

Purdue’s 2021 recruiting class now include Threats, Preston Terrell, Jaelin Alstott-VanDeanter, Tristan Cox and Brandon Calloway
