Purdue Football Recruiting: Brandon Calloway Commits!

Purdue has snagged it’s first out of state commit for the 2021 class, getting 3* Cornerback Brandon Calloway from Georgia.

Do not be surprised to see an uptick in recruiting in the south. With Coach Terrance Jamison familiar with the area, as well as special teams coordinator Marty Biagi, particularly in Louisiana.

Recruiting is early, but Illinois and Wake Forest were both after Brandon.

At 6-1, 185 pounds, Calloway is a very good sized cornerback. A few years back Purdue went heavy with recruiting size at corner, then we saw smaller guys with speed, now we see size again.

We will soon find out what new Defensive Coordinator Bob Diaco prefers.
