Purdue Football: Local Kicker, Caleb Krockover, Commits!

Purdue gets a solid kicker out of their backyard.

Outside of J.D. Dellinger, Purdue has only one other kicker on roster, a walk-on from Chesterton, Indiana.

Well, now they may have their kicker of the future, with Caleb Krockover.

Caleb has been the kicker for the explosive West Lafayette Red Devils for the past few seasons. He actually has the state record for points by a Kicker.

Sure, they scored lots of touchdowns making PATS easy, but he has also made some extremely difficult kicks during his High School career.

With only one other kicker on roster as competition, Caleb will have a legitimate shot of being the starting kicker in 2021, once J.D. graduates.

Dellinger has made huge strides during the Brohm Era, now there are two young kickers to groom.

During his senior season at West Lafayette, Caleb had 50 touchbacks on 95 kickoffs. Compared to his junior season where he only had 9 on 115 kick offs. He has already made huge improvements there.

For PATS, he was 284 of 303 during his 4 years at West Lafayette, good for about 94% average.

Welcome to Purdue, Caleb. Boiler Up!
