Purdue Football: Spring Football Roster - By Position

I went ahead and took the Spring Football Roster and broke it down by position groups.

NCAA Football: Purdue at Northwestern David Banks-USA TODAY Sports
Kyle Holderfield

Things to watch for this Spring:

  1. Quarterback Battle - Jack Plummer took reps with the 1s on Monday according to the Journal and Courier. But, AOC will make a push.
  2. Freshman Wide Receivers. How will the spring go for Maliq Carr, Abdur Rahmaan-Yaseen and Marcellus Moore? Moore is dedicated to track and Jeff Brohm is okay with that, he has regularly been breaking top 10 records for Purdue Track. Carr brings a big body to the core and Abdur reminds me a lot of David Bell.
  3. Rondale Moore listed on the Purdue Football Roster Website as a sophomore (I guess he took a RS?)
  4. Who will be where on the offensive line? Can Hartwig get in early rotation?
  5. Lorenzo Neal Jr? The Journal and Courier reported that he is still rehabbing. It has been nearly 16 months of rehab now. Will he ever be healthy again? Or is it another Richie Worship situation?

Next Practice. Today.
