Hey y’all, this got eaten by my email last week, but it’s too good not to post, because boy howdy, things have taken a turn in Purdue land.
National Poll

Interesting that Auburn is at the top of this poll, but it goes with the entire Bruce Pearl experience. When a Bruce Pearl team is hot, they can be unstoppable. When a Bruce Pearl team is cold, they can look like...well, they can look like Purdue looked last week.
Anyway, and I can’t stress this enough, Bruce Pearl is a miserable human being and I hope his team loses. I enjoy seeing Auburn at the top.
National Question

HAHAHAHAHA
I think the Purdue voting faction might reconsider their answer on this one after Penn State and Ohio State.

I’ll repeat, I’m a week behind on this poll, and what a difference a week make. This was created in the heady, summer days of week 12, before the cold winter of Penn State and Ohio State brought us back to the grim reality of the ‘19-20’ vintage of Purdue basketball.
Oh how I yearn for the days of 3 game win streaks. Week 12 seems like it occurred in another basketball lifetime. I’m going to guess that the week 13 poll won’t be as optimistic, but will it flirt with the dreaded 50% confidence or merely hit the 75% mark I think this the current standard for Purdue basketball?
I guess we’ll find out soon.
