Let’s all help out a great human being with a great cause.

We all know what Grant Hermanns is on the football field for us. Going into this spring, he is expected to be named a four year starter, as well as being named a captain for the 2nd year in a row.

We know he is one of the best offensive tackles in the Big Ten, protecting the blind side for the Jeff Brohm Offense.

But, sometimes, players are remembered more for what they do off the field than on it.

Grant Tweeted this out earlier and I think it is appropriate that we all try to help him raise money for a great cause.

Look at those beautiful, long, luscious locks. He has been working for years on that hairdo.

Grant is wanting to raise 2K before he shaves his head to raise money to fight against Childhood Cancer.

Grant said this...

“I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research

I’m shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s to raise money and help conquer kids’ cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.”

If you feel inclined to help Grant in this great cause, please use this website - Grant Hermanns’ Childhood Cancer Fight.

As of about 7:30 this evening, Grant has raised over $300. Let’s help him make the goals he has set.

Boiler Up!

And always F**k Cancer.
