Name: Preston Terrell
Hometown: Brownsburg, Indiana (Brownsburg HS)
Position & Size: Wide Receiver - 6-3, 190 Pounds
Rating: 3*
Offers: Ball State, Indiana State, IU, Cincinnati
Thoughts: Preston shut his recruiting down at the start of his junior season at Brownsburg.
Since then, other schools cooled on him and later offers didn’t come in, as many would think after he had a standout junior and senior year.
But, he told other schools he is 100% in with Purdue.
At 6-3, 190 pounds, he has a similar build to David Bell and if you ask people in the Indianapolis area, they will say they play similar as well.
Preston is a deep threat and is a big enough wide receiver to absolutely bully corners when blocking them, which is what he has done his entire high school career.
He ended his career at Brownsburg with over 150 catches, 2135 yards and 22 touchdowns. The highlight of his senior season came against conference rival, Zionsville.
Against the Eagles, who were 5A state runner up, Preston had 11 catches for 203 yards and 5 touchdowns, doing whatever he wanted.
In a down year of recruiting, I see Preston as a gem - I believe he has been underrecruited and is the best player in the 2021 class for Purdue.
Welcome to Purdue!
