A couple of weeks ago, Amad Anderson Jr announced he was leaving Purdue, looking for a new opportunity in a year where you get a free transfer and immediate eligibility.
This one hurts our Boilers. Last season, after Rondale Moore got hurt, Amad filled in admirably.
In his RS Freshman year, he had 31 catches for 343 yards and 3 touchdowns.
This year I had him inked in as the guy who was going to make a giant leap. Then Rondale decided to come back.
Amad was used sparingly early on, even when Rondale was out at the slot receiver spot. Hr played outside wide receiver last year, but was moved in to help out at the slot this season.
It just didn’t work out and you cannot blame the kid for finding a new opportunity, which appears to be at Temple.

With the weird Covid Football season, he can transfer there and play immediately and does not lose a year of eligibility, so I believe he has 3 years to play at Temple.
Best of luck, Amad. Temple is getting a good one.
