David Bell for Heisman

He is not the Heisman candidate we expected this year.

NCAA Football: Iowa at Purdue Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

Anyone want to bet on a longshot? Out friends at BetOnline recently published their Heisman odds, and there is a familiar name:

10/26/20 Current (11/2/2020)

Mac Jones - Alabama QB 6/1 5/4

Justin Fields - Ohio State QB 3/2 3/2

Trevor Lawrence - Clemson QB 5/6 5/2

Zach Wilson - BYU QB 33/1 28/1

Kyle Trask - Florida QB 33/1 33/1

Devonta Smith - Alabama WR 40/1 33/1

Najee Harris - Alabama RB 20/1 40/1

Travis Etienne - Clemson RB 25/1 50/1

D’Eriq King - Miami QB 100/1 66/1

Kellen Mond – Texas A&M QB 50/1 66/1

Chuba Hubbard - Oklahoma State RB 66/1 80/1

Sam Ehlinger - Texas QB 80/1 100/1

David Bell - Purdue WR Off the board 100/1

Bell currently leads the Big Ten in receptions (22) yards (243) touchdowns (4), and yards per game (121.5). It is a very small sample size, but he is also eighth nationally in yards per game.

Yes, Bell is a longshot, but it is a weird year and he is smoking teams.
