Sharon Versyp and the Purdue Women’s Basketball program have now finalized their 2020-21 schedule as the Big Ten announced the conference slate for the upcoming season!
The Boilermakers will play just 5 non-conference games ahead of the Big Ten season against North Alabama (Nov 29th), Miami (Ohio) (Dec 3rd), Valparaiso (Dec 6th), Buffalo (Dec 9th), and Bowling Green (Dec 13th) all inside the confines of Mackey Arena.
They will play a home and home against Indiana, Rutgers, Maryland, Illinois, Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State.
The home game lineup includes dates with Northwestern, Nebraska, and Wisconsin, along with the aforementioned Indiana, Rutgers, Maryland, Illinois, Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State. Purdue will also travel to Minnesota and Ohio State.
Purdue will have a bit of a lighter schedule at the beginning of conference play with Penn State, Nebraska and Michigan State all coming off down years before ramping it up against the likes of Rutgers, Maryland, Indiana and Iowa.
We will learn a lot about this team in the first couple weeks of the season as the Big 3 of McLaughlin, Harris and Oden are all gone from last year’s squad.
It's happening!
