The Purdue vs. Northwestern game was originally scheduled to kickoff at 7:30 PM under the lights at Ross-Ade Stadium but today there was a change made to that schedule. The Big Ten Conference announced that the game would instead begin at 5:00 PM.

Aside from this graphic being terrible and hard to read it’s absolutely perfect. This follows an announcement earlier in the day that the Ohio State vs. Maryland game has been cancelled. This game was scheduled for 3:30 PM on Saturday and could be the reason that the Purdue vs. Northwestern game was shifted. Now, rather than having a 3:30 and a 7:30 game the Big Ten Network will have games at 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
So, set your clocks accordingly, prepare your meals, and walk your dogs prior to kickoff because things will get started a full two and a half hours earlier than excepted. For those with young ones at home it likely means you’re going to have to pause the game for bedtime. That includes me. Ahh well, that’s life. Very excited for some Boilermaker football.
