A few weeks after making his choice Trey Kaufman has made it official. He has signed on the dotted line on Early Signing Day and is officially a Boilermaker:

Along with Caleb Furst earlier in the day, Coach Painter now has a pair of top 50 players in the same class for the first time since 2007 when JaJuan and E’Twaun Moore came on board. This gives Purdue a top 25 class nationally with only two players and coach got the two highest rated players in the state of Indiana for this cycle. Both guys are fringe McDonald’s All-Americans and come in with state championships to their credit despite the tournament being cancelled during their junior seasons.
For those in the Indy area (and if we’re allowed to actually go into basketball gyms again soon) you can circle December 12th at the Southport Fieldhouse and the FORUM Tipoff Classic. That is when the pair will face off as Ft. Wayne Blackhawk (Furst) will face Silver Creek (Kaufman). They also met last year in the same event, a 78-74 win for Silver Creek. If I am allowed, I am going.
The schedule is set for the eighth annual FORUM Tipoff Classic. Here is the official release of the biggest one day event in regular season basketball in the state of Indiana (@inthegymhoops_ ) pic.twitter.com/SKgVAIElLS
