2021 Purdue Basketball Recruiting: Caleb Furst Signs NLI

I had no idea that today was National Signing Day for College Basketball - but I guess it is.

Caleb Furst has signed his National Letter of Intent to become a Boilermaker - Trey Kauffman should follow suit later today.

Furst is one of the highest rated recruits Coach Matt Painter has ever signed and is going to build on the strong 2020 class.

Caleb will have the ability to play Power Forward or Center - similar to Trevion Williams, but in my opinion, Furst has a bit more Forward to his game than Trevion does.

The big man has dominated during his high school career and will look to continue to do the same thing to the Big Ten.

A 4* by 247 Sports and 98 composite rating, Caelb is good for a top 50 prospect in the nation and the number 1 player in the state of Indiana for the class of 2021.
