We now know when Purdue will take the field against Illinois and we also know on what television network. The Big Ten conference announced the slate of week two game times and networks for this strange 2020 football season. And, because it’s 2020 they released it via tweet.

It might be a little hard to see but Purdue will play at Illinois on Halloween at Noon on BTN. This allows all the parents out there to have this game finished before it’s Trick or Treat time (if you’re able to safely trick or treat in your area.). After avoiding the noon kickoff in week one Purdue returns to its ancestral home for week two.
I think releasing the game times and television stations week by week is a great idea for the conference as it gives them ultimate flexibility with regard to getting the best games out to the general public. It’s no secret that the conference took a bit of a PR hit with how they handled the cancellation and then un-cancellation of the 2020 season. Putting your best product out in the open is a good thing to show future recruits as well as all of those around the country that the Big Ten should be taken seriously.
Prepare for a Halloween spooktacular against Illinois, who conveniently wears orange, at noon. Just make sure not to eat all the candy reserved for your trick or treaters. You wouldn’t want to be tricked at the end of the night.
