Purdue gets another promising townie walk-on.

Purdue has had a lot of local kids walk-on to Purdue in recent years, and today we get another one from nearby McCutcheon.

Luke Morris - Fr.

West Lafayette, IN (McCutcheon HS)

6’6”, 280 pounds

Offensive Line

2020 Projection: Likely Redshirt

McCutcheon is a newcomer to the North Central Conference along with Harrison and the return of Lafayette Jeff, so Morris is playing in a conference that has some talented teams and some not so talented teams. Last season they were 6-5 and played for a sectional title, but lost to Harrison in the sectional final 45-7. During the year they lost to Harrison in the regular season too, as well as West Lafayette and Lafayette Jeff.

He brings some good size as an offensive lineman and preferred walk on. He was dominant in a few games where McCutcheon beat up some teams, including in a 59-20 win over Kokomo, 42-12 over Logansport, and 56-17 over Anderson. He should be a solid prospect.
