The only official change this week is the departure of Darius Pittman. There are definitely some concerns going forward, starting at quarterback. In this morning’s press conference coach Brohm confirmed that Sindelar sustained a slight concussion on the final offensive play and would not have returned had Purdue gotten the ball back. He is a bit questionable this week. If he cannot go then Jack Plummer would see his first collegiate action.
Matt McCann was also injured on Saturday and is questionable at right guard. DJ Washington and Mark Stickford have played sparingly, but the loss of McCann, Purdue’s most experienced lineman, would be huge.
Also, Coach Brohm stated that Tario Fuller is not close to returning yet at running back, so there is no sudden improvement in the ground game expected.

The defense stays the same too, and it was also announced that Lorenzo Neal will not return this week. Overall he defense played pretty well against Vanderbilt. Barnes and Karlaftis were able to get pressure and Ke’Shawn Vaughn was held below 60 yards. A lot of what was given up happened after Purdue was already head multiple scores in the fourth quarter. The secondary has some minor injuries, but the starters all played Saturday. Purdue rotated better on Saturday, especially upon front.
