Purdue wins its home opener! It was a bit of a shaky first half, but Rondale Moore and Elijah Sindelar had quite the day as both rated in the top 5 all-time in multiple offensive categories. Also, Purdue finally scored on Vanderbilt. The Commodores led the all-time series 2-0 with wins of 3-0 in 1941 and 26-0 in 1942, so at least we scored today.
Here is what Twitter had to say:

Forget Purdue, college football hasn't had many guys that so consistently break and make people miss as Rondale Moore. The ball goes into his hands and it's never boring.

Home opener, disappointing loss last week with some flashes of really good things, beautiful day in central Indiana... it’s a bad day to be a commodore

I am okay if all of Sindelar's interceptions occur during free plays and get cancelled out.

I hope Derek Mason is getting paid by the penalty. That's 8 for 75 yards today. Kicker bails out Vandy on drive by drilling 48-yard FG. Purdue 14, Vandy 10.

If Antonio Brown really wanted to throw away $30M he could have just hired Charlie Weis.

Rondale Moore on Tyler Trent: "We got to build a relationship before he passed away ... he was a great friend of mine and we ended up texting every day and we ended up building a really good friendship. He is a fighter and the definition of a Boilermaker." @theTylerTrent
