Purdue wins its home opener! It was a bit of a shaky first half, but Rondale Moore and Elijah Sindelar had quite the day as both rated in the top 5 all-time in multiple offensive categories. Also, Purdue finally scored on Vanderbilt. The Commodores led the all-time series 2-0 with wins of 3-0 in 1941 and 26-0 in 1942, so at least we scored today.

Forget Purdue, college football hasn't had many guys that so consistently break and make people miss as Rondale Moore. The ball goes into his hands and it's never boring.— Casey Bartley (@CaseyBartleyhr) September 7, 2019

I hope Derek Mason is getting paid by the penalty. That's 8 for 75 yards today. Kicker bails out Vandy on drive by drilling 48-yard FG. Purdue 14, Vandy 10.— Tom Dienhart (@TomDienhart1) September 7, 2019
