America has spoken, and Clemson maintains their rightful spot on top of the college football world.
Top 10 Poll Movement
The top 5 from the preseason poll remained unchanged.
LSU and Michigan swapped places, but they are essentially the same team, so it doesn’t really matter.
Auburn is the first big mover of the year, shooting up 10 places to 8th this week. I don’t love it, because Oregon self destructed, but all things SEC get over blown. It was a nice win for the lakeless Tigers though.
Florida moved out of the top 10 after their train wreck of a game against Miami but get the SEC nod at 11th even if they executed on a middle school B squad level against the Hurricanes.
Notre Dame moves down from 7th to 10th after Louisville inexplicably gave them a game on Monday night.
Big 10
The Big10 currently has 7 teams ranked in this poll.
Ohio State - 5
Michigan - 7
Penn State - 15
Wisconsin - 18
Michigan State - 19
Iowa - 20
Nebraska - 25
Northwestern was ranked 21st in the preseason poll but was rightfully kicked out of the top 25 after their dud against Stanford. SBNation voters seem to think the Big10 is Ohio State and Michigan followed by a bunch of “I guess they’re OK” teams. That’s probably a good call on the Big10 this year. I want to think Penn State could sneak into the top 10, but I simply don’t trust them.

Breakdown
Y’all were pretty much in line with the National poll. You weren’t quite as impressed with Auburn and didn’t punish Florida for whatever it was they put on the field against Miami, but other than that, you’re right in line.
Don’t forget to vote in next weeks poll and if you haven’t voted yet, it’s not too late to sign up HERE.
See you guys next week (hopefully after a Purdue win).
