Officially there are no changed from last week. Where I am concerned is at running back. We completely abandoned the running game and Doerue had just one carry for a single yard. Hewitt did not play and Horvath okay, but not great in his first game. To me it was extremely concerning that we had designed runs for a slow, twice injured quarterback as we’re trying to hold on to the lead. Why are Doerue and Hewitt not getting the ball there?

CB

  2. Simeon Smiley - Jr.

Also, no official changes here. The defense was great until being completely gassed in the final 8 minutes and collapsing. If Our best hope was to win it with a late field goal in place of the last interception because, much like the Wisconsin game last year, the defense was done for over time. This is not going to change until he freshmen develop and Brohm trusts them to build some depth.

Kickoff Returns

  1. Rondale Moore - So.
  2. Jackson Anthrop - Jr.

Punt Returns

  1. Rondale Moore - So.
  2. Jackson Anthrop - Jr.

Moore needs to be taken off of punt returns. Disastrous punt returns cost us 10 points and the game. Moore, as dangerous as he is, made some really strange decisions Friday night, too. On the plus side. Carollo was the surprise pooch punter and did really well. Cormier was good in his first career game as well.
