The addition of the freshmen to the roster means our countdown can be a little more complete.

Crishawn Long - Fr.

Parma, OH (Padua Franciscan)

6’2”, 210 pounds

Linebacker

2019 Projection: Likely redshirt

Purdue is going to play a lot of true freshmen this season, but Long seems like one that is destined for a redshirt where he can bulk up a bit. He comes in at a position where the starters are established and there is some depth ahead of him.

Still, in time he is projecting to be a good linebacker. He had 59 tackles last season asa three-star prospect according to all the major services. He was also a Division III all state selection in Ohio.

Long is a developmental player. We likely won’t see his full impact until he 2020 season if not later, but he has a lot of promise. Let’s see what he grows into.
