Purdue’s home opener will now have an additional guest. Purdue hosts Vanderbilt at noon at week from Saturday and BTN Tailgate, the Big Ten-centric version of College GameDay that airs before games on Saturday mornings will be at the Purdue-Vanderbilt game:

On Sept. 7, BTN Tailgate will visit West Lafayette for a Big Ten – SEC matchup between the Purdue Boilermakers and Vanderbilt

Last year the show was at Purdue in front of Cary Quad. This year it will be at the Sally & Bob Weiss Plaza near Mackey Arena. The entrance to the set will open at 9am and the show begins at 10am. It will then lead right up to kickoff of the home opener against Vanderbilt.

BTN Tailgate was on the Cary front lawn before the Michigan game in 2017 and last year before the massive upset over No. 2 Ohio State. They were also at the Purdue-Nebraska game at Nebraska last season.
