It is finally time to start the 2019 season. Purdue will head to Reno, Nevada for the first time ever as the back-end of a home and home with the Wolf Pack that started in 2016. Purdue won that game 24-14 thanks to a clinching late touchdown from David Blough to Brycen Hopkins. Blough threw for 300 ayrds and two scores, but it was a mostly dull game as Purdue turned the ball over four times.
Hopkins, Navon Mosley, Lorenzo Neal, and Markus Bailey are the only players that saw significant action in that game that are still around, but it is an exciting beginning to the year as Purdue is a 10-point favorite on the road, which is rare.
We will have your coverage here all week as usual. Juan will be at the game and in the press box for us, while the rest of the crew will be posting from home.
