We have been all about football of late preview-wise, but we have not forgotten about Purdue volleyball. The ladies will begin the 2019 season September 1st at home against Ohio at Holloway Gymnasium. They will also begin with a lofty No. 17 national ranking:

This is great, but as always, the Big Ten is utterly brutal when it comes to volleyball. Purdue faces No. 2 Nebraska (October 16 in Lincoln, October 26 in West Lafayette), No. 3 Minnesota (September 28 in Minneapolis, November 3 in West Lafayette), No. 5 Wisconsin (September 27 in Madison), No. 6 Illinois (October 6 in Champaign), No. 8 Penn State (November 9 at State College), and No. 15 Michigan (November 23 in West Lafayette, November 27 in Ann Arbor).
Of course, that is just the conference schedule. Purdue plays No. 25 Louisville in Nashville on September 13 and has a difficult road game at No. 7 Kentucky on September 18. This is also a young team, as Shavona Cuttino and Blake Mohler are the lone seniors.
