The unofficial kickoff of football season with Big Ten Media Days is just around the corner. That event is in Chicago late next week and today Purdue football announced the three players it would be sending to Media Days.
Honored to have @mb_boiler21, @moore_rondale and @loneal40 represent us at B1G Media Day on July 19. #BoilerUp #LetsPlayFootball pic.twitter.com/xMDYsYXvTJ

Markus Bailey - Purdue’s senior linebacker led the team with 115 tackles last season and put the exclamation point on the 49-20 beatdown of No. 2 Ohio State with his 41-yard pick-six in the closing minutes. He added 5.5 sacks and 9 tackles for loss. He is expected to be one of the best linebackers in the conference this season.
Lorenzo Neal - Before tearing his ACL before the bowl game Neal was having a great year, and some NFL Draft boards have him as a potential first rounder. He finished last season with 30 tackles, 3 for loss, and a sack while breaking up a pair of passes. He will anchor the defensive line this coming season.
Rondale Moore - Everyone wants a piece of the most dangerous man in the Big Ten. Moore led the country last season with 114 receptions and finished with 1,258 yards and 12 TDs receiving plus 217 yards and 2 TDs rushing. He broke the single-season all-purpose yardage record at Purdue and was the first true freshman consensus All-American in Big Ten history.
