Jimmy McKenna - RS Frosh

Avon, Ohio

6-5, 290 Pounds

Offensive Lineman (Tackle)

2019 Prediction: Rotation on the Offensive Line

Jimmy a highly rated 3* recruit from Ohio took a year to get stronger and faster. Now, with a year under his belt at Purdue, there is an expectation that we will need him to play at some point.

Sure, we bring back Grant Hermanns at LT and Matt McCann at RT, but both have been injured many times during their career at Purdue. Jimmy is a very capable football player and we will need him to play. Whether it be in as a rotation guy, potentially starting at RT and moving McCann inside or playing a guard spot for us.

Branson Deen - RS Frosh

Indianapolis, Indiana (Lawrence Central)

6-3, 265 Pounds

Defensive Lineman

2019 Prediction: Rotation on the defensive line

Branson came in with a high ceiling last year. After redshirting and putting on some weight, it appears that he is solidified as a defensive lineman now. When he came last summer, they had him playing some Linebacker, some stand up defensive end, some inside linebacker, etc.

Now, he appears to be a hand in the dirt defensive end or an interior defensive lineman. A 3* prospect from Indianapolis, Branson has a ton of promise and will be a very good football player at Purdue for the next 4 seasons.
