Well, it is becoming a theme, but Jeff Brohm snagged another top tier player this evening.

Marcellus Moore, the speedy Track Star out of Illinois, who also will get a free education due to football, decided to commit this evening.
I like to call him Rondale Moore 2.0.
But, everyone has their own path and I am sure that Marcellus will blaze his own - especially with the 4.29 40 yard dash he runs also, a 10.36 100 meter dash.
The 5-8, 170 Pound Athlete is a do it all type of player. Similar to the Moore we already have on roster. I hate to make the comparison, but their high school profiles are so similar.
Marcellus is a 3* “Athlete” (Slot Recevier” according to Rivals, from our neighbors to the west, Illinois. He had plenty of offers, but the Swiss Army Knife decided that the Jeff Brohm offense was the best fit and I couldn’t agree more.
He had offers from Arkansas, Cincy, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa State, Kentucky, Minnesota, Michigan (suck it Harbaugh), Mizzou and Vandy, just to name a few.
Marcellus very well may be the fastest high school football player in the nation for the 2020 class.
Purdue’s 2020 class is starting to round out, presumably there will be a few spots for some players left on the board, but Jeff Brom & Co. can now be selective. A player like Maliq Carr would definitely be accepted and a few of the defensive linemen that we still have on the board.
Marcellus join Collin Sullivan as the other wide receiver in this class. The 2020 class is turning into another offensive powerhouse of a class, joining Mike Alaimo (QB), Tirek Murphy (RB), Collin Sullivan (WR), Marcellus Moore (WR) and plenty of solid offensive linemen.
Take a peak at the speedsters highlights.
