Purdue Boilermakers coach Jeff Brohm will host the All Pro Dad Experience at The Mollenkopf Athletic Center, July 27, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. to raise awareness for foster care and adoption recruitment throughout the state. This family-fun event is focused on fathers and elementary-aged children and highlights a partnership between Family First and the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) which can be found at AllProDad.com/onemore.
The event will feature interactive games and hands-on experiences for West Lafayette-area fathers and kids, and Purdue Boilermakers Head Coach Jeff Brohm will share practical fatherhood tips. Admission is $15 per family.
“The All Pro Dad Experience provides fun, inspirational opportunities for dads and their kids to strengthen their relationships,” said Mark Merrill, president of Family First. “Having hosted more than 100 All Pro Dad Experience events in over 30 different NFL, MLB and NCAA markets since 2004, we’ve seen fathers across the nation regain focus on their most important role: as an All Pro Dad.”
As of June 2019, roughly 14,000 Indiana children can no longer stay in their own homes and in Tippecanoe County there are 305 children in out-of-home placement. For more information and to register for the All Pro Dad Experience at Purdue, please visit AllProDad.com/Events.
