2019 NBA Draft: How to Watch & Open Thread

Tonight Carsen will become the 50th NBA Draft pick in Purdue history.

I am a self-professed NBA hater because I can’t stand a league where teams are rewarded for openly not trying, players like Anthony Davis and Paul George can flat out quit on their teams in the middle of a contract, players that have proven absolutely nothing are drafted ahead of proven 3-4 year guys, and where the title is pretty much foregone conclusion at the beginning of the year barring injury. It is still the pinnacle of basketball. It is to be celebrated when our guys move forward to get paid. Tonight, that will happen for Carsen Edwards:

Carsen will join Vince Edwards, Caleb Swanigan, AJ Hammons, Robbie Hummel, JaJuan Johnson, E’Twaun Moore, and Carl Landry as guys who were drafted under Coach Painter.

We’re looking at a late first round selection for Carsen, which could be good because it means he goes to a competent playoff team looking for an extra piece to make them even better next year.

We’ll have a lot more tonight, but here is all he important info you need:
