The commits keep coming today. Just hours after 4-star quarterback Mike Alaimo committed to Purdue we grabbed the seventh member of the class of 2020.

This is where it gets interesting. Steven is a 6’2” 180 pound athlete from Franklin, Tennessee’s Battleground Academy. He is listed as a 3-star by ESPN, Rivals, and 247, but he is listed as a safety by ESPN and 247 and a wide receiver by Rivals. He is projected to play defensive back at Purdue.
Stevens brings a ton of athleticism to the defensive backfield and I like his size at 6’2”. As a receiver as well you can expect him to play the ball well in the air. Coach Brohm tends to like taller defensive backs and he fits the mold. His video also shows that he reads the ball well and is not afraid to come up and deliver a hit.
Welcome aboard, Antonio!
