Purdue Basketball Recruiting: Ethan Morton

The Crystal Ball Prediction looks favorable for the Boilers.

The 2020 Class is off to a great start with in state target, Jaden Ivey committing a couple of weeks ago.

Now the focus for the 2020 class goes to another guard and hopefully a forward.

Last night, Ethan Morton announced he will be making his college decision this Thursday evening.

Shortly after, I checked 247sports.com and their Crystal Ball is 100% Purdue. Really, when it is 100%, 247 sports is rarely wrong.

247 Sports has Ethan as a 4* recruit, 61st Overall and 98 composite ranking. Rivals ranks him as a 4* and the 41st best player in the nation. He is predicted to be some type of guard or wing player. 247 Sports lists him as a small forward, Rivals lists him as a point guard. It is to be determined on what position Coach Painter has recruited him as.

He has an impressive offer list: Indiana, Michigan, Purdue, Stanford, Ohio State, Pitt, Butler, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Virginia.

These are just a few.

After watching his highlights, Ethan is a straight bucket getter, but he also has a great ability to pass the ball. If we did recruit him as a big point guard, he will thrive in that role, as he will be bigger and stronger than most opposing guards, he can shoot and pass.

My favorite part of his game though is his hustle. He works hard and this has helped him in becoming a dominant player. I will be tuned in Thursday Evening to see if the Boilers are indeed the pick.
