Boilers in the Pros: Isaac Haas Putting in Work

The former Boiler Big Man is starting to make strides in the G-League.

A year after going undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, the former Boilermaker Big Man is showing just how far his game has come.

That is right, Isaac can now shoot a three ball, with beautiful touch. If he keeps making progress like this, he will likely find himself on a NBA roster, sooner rather than later.

In his first season in the G-League, Isaac averaged a solid 10 points per game and 5 rebounds per game. While those numbers are not earth shattering, the work he is putting in with his time in the G-League is.

One thing you cannot teach is size, while the NBA has gotten smaller and the court continues to be stretched out further and further, Isaac has changed his game a bit.

There were highlights shared throughout the year showing Isaac with a nice touch, looking quicker, going off of the dribble and jumping higher. Isaac is simply changing his body and game so he can fit into the present day NBA.

I for one would love to see Isaac play in the Association. He has always been a hard worker, he got better and better every year at Purdue, so it is no surprise that he is continuing to work towards his dreams.

We are all rooting for you, Isaac. Boiler Up.
