In what has become an internet sensation the “NCAA Transfer Portal” is a must follow on 247 Sports. There are hundreds of players that are leaving their schools and I just find it interesting to see where they land.

For Purdue, we have had a handful of players decide to leave the program. This is who we have lost to the Transfer Portal, so far.

Player: Benaiah Franklin

Position: Wide Receiver

Landing Spot: Northwestern State

Impact: The writing was on the wall for Franklin. He decided to leave back in January and already found his new home. He will have a chance to play at Northwestern State.

Position: Keyron Catlett

Landing Spot: Hampton University

Impact: Catlett played on special teams a bit during his time at Purdue. He will have a chance to redshirt for a season and then play two seasons for Hampton.

Player: Allen Daniels

Position: Defensive Line

Landing Spot: N/A

Impact: Daniels had been passed up by younger players coming and he was not going to even be in rotation this upcoming season.

Player: Jacob Abrams

Position: Safety

Landing Spot: N/A

Impact: With the very talented recruiting class for 2019, it was going to be difficult for Abrams to beat those guys out. He has nice size and athleticism. He will land and be able to play after sitting out a season.
