There is a chance that McWilliams will make some noise at defensive end, now that he is going into his third year with the program.
McWilliams was part of the first Jeff Brohm recruiting class. as he was hired and added some pieces. McWilliams was recruited as a defensive end, at 6-4, 205 Pounds.
He since then has gained a bit of weight but is still undersized a bit. For example, Freshman, George Karlaftis is already 265 Pounds.
McWilliams will be a solid reserve for Purdue. He may be in rotation or not with the 2018 and 2019 defensive line classes being pretty strong. I do believe he will help us on special teams regardless.
