Purdue Basketball: Carsen Edwards Named All-American by NABC

Another accolade for the Boilermaker.

Fresh off his best performance of the season, scoring 42 points and leading Purdue over the reigning National Champions, Carsen Edwards earned his 3rd All-American Accolade of the year.

Per the press release from Purdue, Purdue was named to the 2nd team of the NABC, which is the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

With this honor, Carsen has now been named to three of the four organizations who vote for All-American Teams. Carsen, who was an All-American last year, will have his jersey hung in Mackey Arena, along with other Boilermaker greats, most recently, Caleb Swanigan.

Carsen, lead the Big Ten Conference in scoring this year and currently leads the NCAA tournament in scoring through two games.

Expect another solid performance Thursday from the Boilermaker guard, where he can further his great legacy at Purdue. The Boilermakers tip off at 7:30 PM vs Tennessee at the KFC Yum! Center.
