Yes, I know that the NCAA Tournament already started with the First Four, but those aren’t real tournament games. Theya re a bizarre purgatory in Dayton of teams too good for the NIT and not good enough for the real bracket yet. That they make four 16 seeds play there is ridiculous, as those teams earned their way in.
But enough about that. The real games begin today and it will be a long wiat until around 10pm when Purdue tips off against Old Dominion. I will be on the road most of the day as It is spring break and I am off to Miami, but I will be checking in throughout. Casey is live in Hartford for us, while the rest of the staff will be around and handling game tweeting.
Let’s hope that the entire day is worth waiting for, because there is nothing worse than losing on day 1.
