We’ve waited for this moment for 12 months. Each year Purdue is in the NCAA Tournament is a chance to erase the demons of the past. After Friday night’s loss we’re right on the edge of a 3 seed and a 4 seed according to Bracket Matrix. LSU and Texas Tech as prospective 3 seeds also lost early in their conference tournaments, but Kansas and Florida State made big runs to come from behind.
I would much prefer a 3 seed so we can avoid a 1 seed as long as possible and it is an easier path to the Sweet 16, but if we’re a 4 seed that’s all we can do. You have to play the games from there.
So it is time to find out where we’re going.
