The Big Ten announced their 2018-2019 slate of awards today. Purdue wound up with three awards tonight. Let’s take them one by one.
Head Coach Matt Painter earned his 4th Conference Coach of the Year trophy. This makes him now third in league history. This is quite an honor for Painter as he did one of the finest coaching jobs I can remember to come back from losing four starters off of a 30 win team to winning the conference the very next season. Great job by Coach Painter this season.
