In advance of hosting the defending champions this week Purdue continues to receive votes, but is outside the AP top 25 in this week’s poll. The Win over VCU on Friday helped, but Purdue probably needed the win over Florida State to get back in the top 25. The good news is that the Boilers are close and there are still chances at some good wins with Virginia and Butler in the next few weeks. Win both and finish the non-conference 8-3 would be perfectly fine.
