We all watched that Minnesota game and saw the injuries pile up. The top roughly 65 guys on this team are out due to injury with no real timetable of when they are coming back. Things aren’t looking great for this team. We may be in the midst of a lost season. I’m pretty down on this team right now. Things aren’t gonna get any better when this team plays #12 Penn State. It’s not gonna be a good day.

I don’t think Purdue wins this. If it does, it would be in a similar style to the Ohio State upset last year where the Buckeyes gained a ton of yards, but couldn’t produce points in the red zone. I think they got something like 6 points on 5 red zone trips because of a missed field goal, and a few fourth down stops. It is hard to see Purdue winning this game unless Penn State makes a ton of errors and turnovers, and the Boilers are dead last in the Big Ten in turnover margin, having gotten just two and given up 10. I do think we can at least cosmetically make it better with some late drives and the freshmen show some fight.
