After taking seemingly forever to win a homecoming game Purdue has now won two games in a row on Homecoming. This is after losing six in a row from 2012-17. It was also the first ever win over Maryland and, as you will see below, revenge for the 2006 Champs Sports Bowl.

Couldn’t tell who it was but one of King’s teammates just put a crown on his head after that touchdown.

If victories were determined by the uniform you wear, Purdue would win today’s game by a mile.
— Paul Branham (@BoilerPaulie) October 12, 2019
Unfortunately, victories are not determined by the uniform you wear.

I've been desperate and needy at times in my life, but I've never been "IU Football advertising during Purdue games" desperate and needy.

One quarter in the books from Ross-Ade Stadium: Purdue 13, Maryland 0. Whatever is in your flask tastes better, I'm guessing.

Note: Locksley was Saban's OC last year, and as we all know, Purdue owns Saban.

Purdue has 40 points and every touchdown they’ve scored today has been thrown, caught, or run by a freshman player.

Plummer: 3 TD passes
Bell: 2 TD rec
Wright: TD rec
Doerue: rush TD
Trice: INT ret TD
Purdue with one of the more remarkable week-to-week improvements, as the shift to youngsters becomes even more pronounced. Keep adding freshmen to the list of those who will have long, impactful Purdue careers: Plummer, Bell, Doerue, Wright, Trice, Saunders, Allen, Karlaftis, etc
